Jimothy Lacoste, the north London rapper making a name for himself with DIY productions and low budget videos, began posting music online in 2016, and rapidly received co-signs from UK music tastemakers and fellow artists including MistaJam, Giggs, Chase & Status and Reggie Yates, and a signing to Black Butter Records.

As well as joining a label featuring J Hus, Wiley and Rudimental, Lacoste has already released a collection of UK rap anthems, which have included positive, anti-drug messages and showcased what Dazed described as the 'razor sharp observational humour of Mike Skinner'. Earlier this month, the 18 year old was invited to join model Adwoa Aboah as she hosted Burberry’s New York pre-collection party, where he gave an impromptu performance. Lacoste will next be seen performing at London’s The Dome September 28.
